What’s in My Bag - The Cold Season Edit

I’ve always been interested what people actually carry with them - the little things that support their everyday rhythm. A handbag, after all, is more than an accessory, it’s a small curation of our daily rituals, our comforts, and our aesthetic instincts. Mine tend to tell the same story every time: I like things simple, functional, and quietly indulgent.

I always carry in my Bottega Veneta bag a small tube of hand cream to hydrate my sensitive hands, a cashmere pashmina for those chilly evenings or or overzealous air conditioners, a pair of stylish sunglasses that I like to wear even on cloudy days. I can’t go anywhere without my favourite lipstick, I can’t go anywhere without a touch of lipstick - I choose the shade to suit the mood or moment, along with a few cosmetic essentials for quick touch-ups. Of course, there’s my wallet and my iPhone, not because I’m much of a talker, but because I love capturing moments in photos. I always keep my AirPods close too, perfect for music or podcasts during quiet moments on my own.

Perfume

Cunzite White Musk is my new favourite fragrance. I discovered it during my recent trip to Dubai and can say it’ has quickly become a scent I can’t be without. The presentation is luxuriously elegant, with the perfume accompanied by a small bottle of oil tucked inside the box. I often dab a little drop of the oil on my wrists even when I’m at home. Thanks to its stylish small bottle it’s very easy to carry in my bag and therefore I never go out without it. There’s something about the soft musk that feels instantly grounding and effortlessly elegant, that’s why I made it one of my favourite things to always carry in my bag, especially in the cold season.

Hand Cream

I always carry the OUAI Hand Crème in Rue St. Honoré with me - it’s one of those little luxuries that makes my hands feel instantly better. The texture is rich but never greasy, and the scent is beautiful - a blend of violet, gardenia, ylang ylang, and white musk that feels both sophisticated and quietly feminine. It’s the kind of fragrance that lingers softly without being overpowering, and the perfect companion for on-the-go hydration especially for those with sensitive hands who need permanent hydration and pampering even after a hand wash.

Solid Foundation

Another staple in my bag is Chantecaille’s Le Camouflage Stylo - a sleek, easy-to-use concealer pen that instantly brightens and smooths the complexion. It’s perfect for quick touch-ups during the day, especially when I need to look a little more awake between meetings and lasts long until the evening. The texture is lightweight yet effective, blending effortlessly without ever feeling heavy — one of those products that quietly earns its place in every handbag. Le Camouflage stylo is the perfect on-the-go alternative to foundation that keeps me looking fresh until the end of the day - its small size makes it the perfect companion to have in your bag.

Pashmina

A cashmere pashmina is a constant in my bag — soft, versatile, and perfectly practical. I keep them in different shades so there’s always one to suit my outfit or the occasion. It’s that effortless piece that feels just as right draped over the shoulders at dinner as it does wrapped around me on a cold flight.

Lipstick

Chantecaille Lip Crème is the perfect balance between colour and care. The texture is buttery and hydrating, with just the right amount of sheen to feel polished without being overdone - the perfect alternative to the Lip Chic which is an outstanding hybrid of lipgloss and lipstick that gives my lips an instant luminous glow.
I love to wear the Lip Creme especially in winter when its velvety, subdued texture gives my lips extra comfort and protection. It instantly refreshes my look, whether I’m heading to a meeting or out in the evening - a small luxury that never disappoints.

I like to pair the lipstick with the brand’s Lip Definer, which shapes and subtly enhances my natural lip line. The pencil glides on smoothly, adding just enough contrast to make the colour stand out without looking harsh. It also helps the lipstick stay in place longer, which makes it perfect for touch-ups throughout the day.

What I enjoy most about getting ready each day is finding balance between beautiful and useful. It’s the same approach I take to day-today life: if something is functional and made with care, it naturally becomes beautiful. There’s comfort in having a few things that set the tone for the day and have your back throughout the day.
